Match Summary: A nice evening match at home tonight, felt strange no one having a hang over or half asleep.
A game we all wanted to win and should have won, the boys played some great football but the ball just wouldnt go in. Great goal by Harvey on his left foot put us in the lead, it was then the curse of the goalpost struck and got in the way each time we tried to score another!
No Charlie today due to an injury picked up from the last match, Get well soon
The midfielders were on top form tonight Sean, Marco, Owain and Harvey all got the tackles in and won alot of the loose balls.
Nathan, Jack, Luke and Connor didnt want to let those cats any where near the goal but 2 strikes for them paid off.
Jak and Deiniol were eager to snatch a goal , if it wasnt for that darn curse.
Nearing the end of another season only the play offs, semi finals and finals to go.
Thank goodness for the summer tournaments.

The first half saw the the nomads take the lead to 5 - 1,
Great passes within the team that produced some great goals. All the away fans had a great time today and enjoyed every minute of the match.
Nathan was alert as always in goal today and was always in control of his area.
Luke, Conner and Jack did the buisness in keeping any attacking Malpas players away from the goal and closed them down straight away.
Marco, Owain, Sean and Harvey must have ran the London Marathon today, they were ready and quick on the breaks but quick to run back and help when needed.
Jak, Deiniol and Charlie also ran their socks off and worked well in passing the ball to who ever was available to take a shot at goal.
Great skill shown by all the palyers and was a joy to watch.

Nathan must have eaten 3 shredded wheat today as he was on top form and was in total control of his goal.
Luke, Jack and Connor were also outstanding and the Blacon boys found it hard to get past our tough defence.
Marco, Owain, Charlie and Sean were also quick to get stuck in winning most of the balls in the midfield area.
Deiniol, Harvey and Jak were keen to bury the ball in the goal today and most of them had a try in doing so.
The spirit and passion from the team really came through with excellent passes, crosses and shots at goal.
This was a match that had all the fans on the edge of their seats and biting their nails.

Malpas remained focused and played good football.
Nathan didnt have that tough of a job today but was ready just incase. The defenders Luke, Connor and Jambo were alert and was soon to get the ball out of harms way.
Sean headed a goal kick, but unfortunatley it landed on his head awkward (could have knocked himself out) quick action by the ref soon spotted things were not right and he was took off and taken to hospitial ( Hope you are feeling ok now)
The midfield remained strong thanks to the hard work and determination of Marco, Charlie, Harvey and Owain. Great strikes at goal from Jak and Deiniol.

Nathan was superb in goaland kept out some tough shots, The boys at the back, Luke & Jack were so strong and stood their ground well, Owain & Marco were spot on with the marking and didnt give the away team any way through , the defence took some hard tackles but they kept their cool.
Sean & Harvey battled really hard and were excellent at winning the ball back, they both made some great crosses to Charlie and Deiniol had some great strikes at goal and working really hard in getting the ball in the net.
Well done boys, I know each and every one of your supporters is incredibly impressed and proud of what you are achieving and for the effort you all give.

Match Summary: Bright blustery morning at Boughton Hall but everyone was ready for a good game of footy today, due to the recent weather and cancelled matches seems a while since the boys last played. Another good turn out of home fans with plenty of cheering and support.
An exciting match with a good early goal from Jack this llifted the boys spirits, they quickly settled down then Harvey ran to recover what everyone thought was a ball going out of play to do a cracking cross over to Deiniol who knocked it home, 2 - 0.
Closley followed by 2 more goals making Deniol his hatrick.
Nathan was on form today and held onto a few hard stikes but as Nate is sturdy in goal he blocked the wasps scoring. Luke, Connor and Jack knuckled down and put pressure on the wasps from the off, I would think twice if I had any of them running at me !
Harvey, Marco, Owain and Charlie took turns to cover the wings, The Coaches team talk must do the trick because they are so fast down that line . Sean woked hard and covered the midfield recovering the ball and looking for the pass to Denniol and Jak who were upfront and determined to get the goals in today, nice to see some great passes across to the waiting nomads in the box.

Tough match but credit goes to all the boys as their passing and effort were outstanding.
Nathan was again in total control of his goal and was diving everywhere the Panthers gave him a little MOM trophy for his excellent effort.
Luke, Connor, Jack and Marco closed everyone down when the attack came and looked for the pass forward to the wingers and midfielders Harvey, Sean, Charlie & Owain who chased the ball got the tackles in and did some excellent crosses to Jak & Deiniol who in turn looked for the opportunity to score.
Great football and teamwork. Even after being 2 goals down the boys kept their heads high and battled on. Dont you just love saturday mornings.

A great start and the Nomads were in total control from the off. A great match all in all and the Nomads showed off their true talent skill, control and good sportsmanship.
Thanks to Gary (Jacks Dad) for being the ref,
Nathan played the best game of his career so far he was absolutely outstanding.
Well deserved MOM was Owain who was strong on the ball and never gave up in chasing the ball and getting it back of the Newton players.
The stong defence stood firm Luke, Jack & Connor were ready and cleared the ball when the attack came.
In midfielder was Sean & Harvey who also work well together, their marking was frustrating the newton boys and they both used their skill to get the ball and make the pass to Jak, Charlie & Marco who were on the wings they controlled the ball and were super fast down the line they made some cracking crosses over to Deiniol who had a few good tries at goal he caught the defence and goalie off guard got the ball made a little chip to Harvey who scored and made it 1 - 0 to us.

Match Summary: Well we all wanted to win this one didnt we !. Due to a water logged pitch at home we had to play at Boughtons home ground.
Not the best game of the season but the nomads held their own and battled on, winning plenty of throws and free kicks.
A lucky goal for boughton was made from a free kick just outside the penalty box and a scramble of feet secured their lead.
The boys in true nomad spirit kept working hard and tried their best to make it a draw but the goals didnt want to go in.
With all their skill and determination im positive the lads will bang the goals in and win next time.
Well deserved MOM for Nathan who was outstanding, Great to see him telling the defenders and midfielders to help when he needed it.
As usual the defenders Jack, Luke & Connor were on boughton like a rash and closed them down at every opportunity
Charlie, Owian and Harvey were out on the wing and got some great tackles in and won loads of throw ins. Sean & Marco were in midfield winning the ball and really getting stuck into boughton.
Deiniol and Jak were up front and really wanted to bang one in but that ball would not go in.

Match Summary: First time we have played at Christleton High School,A typical cold and windy winter day, the Nomads were ready to take on Newscene, A were looking for a win.
A slow start to the first half as the Nomads took a while to settle but the boys soon knuckled down and got on with the job. An early Nomads goal lightened the Nomads spirits and they played some great football.
A cracking job by goalie Nathan today he did an excellent job. Luke, Marco and Connor was right on the Newscene forwards and closed them down at every opportunity .
Owain and Charlie were the wingers and flew down the sidelines, some cracking crosses to the awaiting midfields and forwards. Jak was determined and got stuck in with the tackles and won alot of balls today.
The second half and the team seemed to just click and they were on a mission ( must have been some half time team talk) great teamwork from Sean who made a good cross to Harvey who did a lovely pass on to Deiniol who put it in the back of the net. Fantastic.
The team went from strength to strength and were starting to worry Newscene.
All the Away fans left feeling that although their team didnt win, the boys put on the best performance for a while. Well Done and keep up the good work

Owain, Marco & Sean were strong in midfield and were on the ball straight away, all their skills were put to the test today, the marking was good , the passing was good and the effect they gave to win that ball was excellent.
Harvey, Deiniol & Jak worked hard in getting another goal in but luck wasnt on their side today. A few good saves from the Blacon goalie kept a few good strikes out.

Match Summary: Autumn has arrived along with the rain and falling leaves, but that didnt put a dampner on the Nomads spirits, the boys were ready for a tough match against the Wasps.
The undefeated season continues with the sting firmly taken from the Wasps tail.
The game kicked off to a great first goal from Birthday Boy Harvey, this settled the boys down quickly and was followed by 4 more goals during the match from Owain 2 & Deiniol 2.
The boys never once lowered their heads or stopped trying their best. Despite the rain the away fans were out in force with their usual supplies of tea and coffee.
Nathan was in total control of his goal and didnt want to let the Wasps anywhere near it. Luke was solid as a rock today as were Marco & Jack, Unfortunatley Jack had a knee injury that kept him out for most of the second half. In steps Marco who has great speed and skill to keep the Wasps at bay.
Charlie made quite a few good runs and excellent crosses which paid off in some great goals. Sean was also injured for a while but after a few minutes was ready to go back on and stop the wasps in their attemps to push forward.
Jak and Deiniol were determined in keeping the ball moving forward and made some excellent strikes at goal. Owain and Harvey were on the wings and tackled well and won many a throw.
All the boys are really showing their talents now this season and they look like a well structured team.
Whos Next..............?

Match Summary: Another action packed game, the nomads were wanting another win to add to their undefeated record so far, as normal the boys did their best and it again pays off. Good job the dedicated Manager plans the tactical training sessions in advance.
A new Ref for the home match was Jambos Dad - Gary, to be honest not a bad job, very fair and allowed the advantage when possible, probably better than the alternative (Gaynor) now that would have been a completly different match altogether!.
Nathan was again not over worked so hopefully his finger would have now healed nicely ready for the cup action that will follow in the next few weeks. Luke (the German) was back fresh from his holidays to team up with (Jambo) Jack, who nearly scored from over the half way line " How did you miss that" joked the manager. These defenders must have the best system working between them that the fans have seen for a long time.
MOM Connor Jones was swapped alternate with both defenders and quite rightly earned MOM with his sheer determination for winning the ball and great tackling skill.
Owain and Marco were the terriers today and stuck to their man like glue, cant beat these two for their marking skills. (must be the only time you run after Wasp, Ha Ha)
Harvey covered a few positions today from left & right wing to central midfield to forward and had a few chances at goal. Sean was banging them away today and got his hat trick (£5 pocket money surely) he was on top form and could of possible had a few more.
Charlie also scored 3 (another £5) he has a great skill of pounding the ball home, whether its on the edge of the box or on the rebound.
Jak was determined today (Jo what did he have for breakfast?) he battled hard and won lots of throw ins and did some excellent crosses and passes.
Deiniol was also working hard, (another goal and he to could have had a £5 pocket money) marking well and winning the ball with some superb tackles.
The passing between all players has improved and the game is a joy to watch, its nice to see them thinking about who can get a goal rather than going for the glory themselves.
Were on the way to winning the Cup.

The Nomads got a bit to relaxed towards the end of the first half but assistant coach Jonny was on hand at half time to put the boys back in the right frame of mind and concentrated on the pass, pass, pass technique. It worked and in went a few more goals.
As usual the away supporters turned out in force, this time armed with tea, coffee, cookies etc. They all left happy that we won and are looking forward to the next home match.
Nathan did well when he had to and was solid in goal, Jack, Owain and Connor worked well in the defence and was ready for any breaking attacks that may come from the Jaguars, Marco, Harvey & Charlie were on the attack when ever they had a chance, Deiniol & Jak were ready as always to bang one past the goalie.

The match started off in a slow controlled mood, (new tatics i wonder, or were the boys still tired ?) but the nomads soon got into gear when the break came and in went the first goal, after that they seem to be in complete control and continued with the goal frenzie.......again.
Must be something in the water.
(Jo - what do you put in the water and can I have some)
No Luke today as on his holls, A few players feeling under the weather with colds etc but that didnt put a dampner on their spirit, they all worked hard..very hard.
Nathan still has a bad finger but as normal dived all over the place, Jack, Connor and Owain covered the defense between them with Harvey, Sean,Marco in midfield and Charlie, Jak & Deiniol up front, nice to see some midfielders going up front and the forwards dropping back to mid.. (new tatics again im sure?)
Nomads could of had more but the post kept getting in the way.
Lets keep up the good work.

"Watching the Nomads U10 is better than paying to go to a premiership match" so the away fans were heard saying today. I agree.
Another brilliant example of football displayed today, the passing between the lads was superb. "Its getting harder and harder to pick Man Of The Match as all the boys are playing like true professionals" said the Manager.
All the players wanted a goal today im sure, Some great free kicks from Jambo & Luke nearly ended up in the back of the net, at one point thought Nathan was going to do a goal kick and score. Connor & Owain were again strong in defence and precise with their kicks to Harvey, Sean, Marco who waited in midfield & made some great crosses to Jak, Deiniol & Charlie who were all wanting for the ball to score.
Hats off to the Hoole Hornets who never displayed any bad sportsmanship dispite the score line and carried on like troopers, they also deserve a big well done for all their efforts.

First match of the season, (oh I love this time of year) All smart in thier new kits the boys were ready, as well as the Parents im sure.
Training continued throughout the summer thanks to our dedicated Manager & Coach.
Little did we know how ready the boys were, WOW, is the easiest way to put it, they all played with such passion and determination. The passing between all the team was simply outstanding, the goals just seemed to flow.
All of the Nomads away fans were delighted with the teams effort and score line today.
Not many changes to the line up this year except for a new addition to the team, Deiniol who has settled in well with all the lads.
Jak, Deiniol and Charlie were all banging the goals in today, Harvey, Owain Sean and Marco also wanted to get up there and have a go, but stood firm in midfield. Connor, Luke and Jack defended well and were on Malpas straight away. Nathan had made his
mind up nothing was getting past him today...and it didnt.
COME ON THE NOMADS
Dont forget back to the club house for a well earned Bacon Butty and a Cup Of Tea.
