Match Summary: VICARS CROSS THRILLER!
The match got off to a slow start but was closely fought, however Vicars Cross got the edge in the first half and put 2 into the net.
The second half was a completely different affair, the football flowed well from both sides, the Nomads coming back when Charlie Tice hit a curling shot into the top right hand corner and a short while later Tom Chrimes levelled the score with a true poachers goal from within the 6 yard box. Vicars Cros then hit back at the Nomads and struck a long ranger which flew over the Nomads keeper, to take the lead back. It looked like Vicars Cros had just got the edge for the win when right at the close of play, Charlie Tice struck a screamer into the roof of the net, 3 a piece and shortly after that the final whistle blew on what was a great match for both players and spectators.

Match Summary: Good quality football was played by both teams throughout the first half but it was Chester Nomads who broke the deadlock when Sam Roscoe hit home a thundering volley into the roof of the net, close to the end of the first half. A well played, close first half despite the blustery conditions.
The second half saw Nomads stretch their lead with Tom Chrimes hitting home 2 more for the Chester Nomads but despite being three down, the Colts came back well and got the last goal of the game near to the end.

Match Summary: Nomads got of to a good start and Tom Chrimes got both well taken goals in the first half. 2-0 at half time. The second half was much closer and Sean Bates played superbly in goal stopping many of the chances that the Colts had. Charlie Mann got the best goal of the game with a cracking strike into the top corner before the Colts got one back from a cross that went through everybody and into the corner. George Mayo got the last goal of the game, sliding in on a parry from the keeper. A good game throughout and both sides played well. 4-1 at the end.

Match Summary: The first half got underway and Nomads scored with the first attack, goal by Sam Roscoe. Tom Chrimes got the second goal by hitting a cross that slipped through the keepers hands. Zak Goodall got the next by sliding a low shot into the corner. Goal number four was a strong shot by Tom Chrimes over the keeper. Ben Collins then got on the score sheet when he saw the keeper was off the line and his long range shot flew over into the net. Sam Roscoe then got 3 goals in a row, first being a chip over the keeper, then sliding one in after a great passing move with George Mayo and goal number eight for the Nomads was a second chance after the keeper made a great save. In fairness to the keeper, the scoreline didn't reflect on his ability, he was stopping several shots as Nomads continued to pressure throughout.
Tom Chrimes got number nine with a cool finish. Next to get on the scoresheet was Craig Graham who had to shoot at the keeper twice in order to score after a good initial save again from the Whitby keeper. Number eleven was a great passing move by the Nomads finished off by Zak Goodall. Tom Chrimes then managed to take on 5 players and calmly slide in number twelve and got number thirteen for Nomads, again with a cool finish. The last goal of the first half was scored by Craig Graham with a good finish following more good pasing play by the Nomads. Fourteen Nil to the Nomads at half time.
The second half got underway and Whitby got into the play and battled well being unlucky on the attack. However, after about 10 minutes in Zak Goodall got a clear chance and slid the ball home. Next came a goal out of nowhere, Kyle Stoddart hit a looping long ranger into the corner of the net. Charlie Mann who clearly wanted to get on the scoresheet got number seventeen for the Nomads after a good strike, celebrating in Ronaldo style, waving his Nomads shirt in the air.
Harry Kiloran got the next with a great finish and next came another big hitter, Ben Collins with a cracking long ranger. George Mayo got on the scoresheet with the next two goals as the Nomads completely chaged formation, swapping strikers for defenders. The last 2 goals were firstly a good run through the middle from Harry Kiloran and then finally Tom Chrimes scored after a good run from Zak Goodall.
Twenty three goals in the end, Whitby Rangers playing hard throughout, never giving up in muddy, cold conditions. Well done both to both teams.

Sam Roscoe got a third and then shortly before half time got a great goal with a cracking volley into the corner.
The second half was very different and Nomads made some sloppy errors and infairness to Castrol even though they were 4-0 down, they fought back very well and were a different side and dominated the second half. Castrol got 4 goals in the second half to make it 4 a piece and very nearly snatched the winner at the end and after continous pressure. A draw at the end but nevertheless a very exciting match throughout. Well done Castrol for a very good fight back.

The weather didn't help matters in the second half and Upton who in fairness were quickest to the ball consistently, got their second. Nomads struggled throughout, in what was an unexpected performance from the Nomads. Upton Blacks playing stronger and with a greater determination winning 2-0.

Sam Roscoe then managed to get on the end of a great ball from Tom Chrimes and Sam slid in his hat trick goal. However, Castrol then came back with 2 more. So 5-4 close to the end. Castrol then put the pressure on and hit the post right near the end but Nomads hung on to win, 5-4 to the Nomads at the end. Very good, close match.

The second half began with Nomads again having most of the ball and Tom again hit al ow shot for his hat trick. Tom again got another shortly after for number 4. Next it was Sam Roscoe to get on the scoresheet with an easy roll in, close to the goal. Then a new player, Zak Goodall got his first goal for number 6 with another close knock in. Tom then set off again and this time hit the best of the match with a great low strike from distance and at a very difficult angle, his fifth of the match. Sam Roscoe then decided to tot up his goals total with 2 more low shots towards the end of the game, ending up with his hat trick.
