Result: 2 - 2
Scorers: Saoirse Walker (2)

Match Summary:
This was a fantastic performance from our girls. We were reduced to just 11 players in total due to illness and availability. Every player gave 100% in this hard fought encounter on a very hot day. Typical of the spirit of the girls was Abbie, who despite blisters on her feet, battled on to help her team equalise twice. Saiorse scored 2 excellent goals and Holly was outstanding in goal. Well done girls.

Match Summary:
This was a hard fought game
against a good Waverton side.
Nomads held there own for two thirds
of the match but eventually paid the
price for a depleted squad of just
11 players. In the end
tiredness played its part in the
final score line.

Result: 1 - 3

Match Summary:
Despite the score line this was one of the best performances this season for the Nomads.
With a depleted squad due to the Easter Holidays, and the need to draft in 2 players from elsewhere to make up the 11, Nomads held their own and displayed some passing moves not seen so far this season.
In the end it was simply the fact that we had no substitutes that lead to Blacons late run of goals as we ran out of steam.
A great performance girls, well done.

This was a much improved
performance with the girls putting
last weeks training into practice.
Despite twice going behind, Nomads fought hard and battled to take a 5 - 3 lead going into the closing stages. Blacon pulled one back in the dying minutes but Nomads hung on for a well deserved win.
Well done.

A well organised and skillful Mold side were simply too good for us to handle.
Despite this being our biggest defeat we must take heart and learn from the experience. Mold are a well established team and their experience showed.

Match Summary:
This was our last game game
before Christmas against a Waverton
u14's team. As usual against
Waverton who had some fine
individual players, this was a
competitive but fair encounter. We
played very well as a team both
defending and attacking in numbers.
Mia who was our Player of the Match
scored our goal directly from a
corner, fantastic!. Waverton
equalised in the last quarter with a
fine long range shot. The 1 1 result
was a fair scoreline, neither team
deserved to lose. Well Done Girls
see you next year!!!

Result: 1 - 0
Scorers: Saoirse Walker

Match Summary:
Another great game against Vicars
Cross U12's, who although had some
younger girls than us were very good
technically. It was a very
even match with end to end football.
The match was won with a goal
from Saoirse who although didn't
know much about it, like all good
strikers, was in the right place at
the right time.
The player of the match selected
by VC was Becky O'Brien. With
the arrival of Lucy McKenzie, we now
have a squad of 15 girls which is
fantastic.

Result: 1 - 4
Scorers: Saoirse Walker

Match Summary:
This was the first time we had played an 11 a side game on a 3/4 size pitch with full size goals. What a game it was. The game was very evenly balanced and at 2 nil down the scoreline did not do our girls justice.
When Saoirse pulled one back with a fantastic strike it looked as if our
unbeaten start to the season could possibly be maintained. In a frantic finish to a pulsating game Kinmel Bay hit us twice on the break as we tried and failed to find the equaliser.
Keep your heads up girls, we may have lost but the performance was fantastic. Well done.

Result: 3 - 1
Scorers: Mia Gittens, Saoirse Walker, Annie Ballance
MoM: Mia Gittins
Match Summary:
This was another excellent game against league side Buckley. It was end to end with nice football from both sides with Nomads edging the possession. Our usual goalkeeper (Amy) was not available so Abbie played there for most of the game and did a very good job. There was also a debut for Jessie who played well in defence and later on in goal, replacing Abbie. It was a pleasing game to watch with some good passing and attacking play. Our defence was well organised and limited Buckley's attacking options. Nomads goalscorers were Player of the Match, Mia, Saoirse and Annie. The girls are coming on very well and are developing good individual skills and tactical awareness.

This was another fantastic match against Waverton. We played for the first time on a full sized pitch, 10 a side, so the girls had to do a lot of running. As always against Waverton this game was very competitive with end to end football, lots of goals and strong tackling. Our goalscorers were Saoirse(2), Sarah, Mia, Patsy and debutee Annie. Well played girls.

Match Summary:
This was our first match of the season against Welsh league side Mostyn Dragons, who are a well established team that won a Cup competition last season. This was an excellent game with two evenly matched sides, both playing some great football along with some strong tackling. We scored first with a close range effort from Mia. Mostyn equalised late on in the last quarter. There were team debuts for Saoirse, Sophie and Patsy who all played a signficant part in this performance. Well Done girls.

it was always going to be difficult.
Nomads did themselves proud with 6 very determined performances throughout the day. The girls finished in style with a deserved victory in the last game of the group stages.
