Match Summary: A wet and windy day from the start, during and finnished in itorrential rain. It was the Nomads 1st home match of the season. Everyone was soaked but the fans didnt mind as it was another great win to an unbeatable season so far.
A great start from the Nomads quickly put them in the lead, they dominated the match and showed why they are unbeatable so far this season. The passing was absolutley superb, outstanding, fabulous. These boys are such a strong side now and have bonded well as a team, they show their maturity by being unselfish and looking for the pass instead of trying to score and losing the ball. This is fantastic football. I am going to start mentioning who assisted who in scoring the goals as every player on the team helped in one way or another in getting a goal.
Nathan the goalie didnt have a busy time but was ready, willing and able, the back 4, Charlie, Kerion, Luke G & Owain shut Hope Farm down at every single chance they had. The midfielders and wingers Marco, Cameron, Sean, Harvey and Isaac were on top form despite the downpour of rain made great runs and really knuckled down and got on with their jobs.
The forwards Jak, George & Dom were itching to bury the ball in the net every chance they had.
Lets hope next week its not raining..... But we dont mind really, its half the fun!

Match Summary: What a beautiful bright sunny afternoon at Saughall. After having a rest last weekend everyone was up for a good game of footy today. With an all time record of 18 goals, yes I diid say 18 !!!!!!!!!!
I still think Jo puts something in their water!
A full team today, no one injured (touch wood) or on holiday, everyone played a cracking game today and you should be vary proud of yourselves.
Not much happened in the defence today, so the defenders had go in different positions, Luke G "The German" even scored, as did Marco "Lightening McQueen" and Charlie "Chilli" Ward. Massive kicks upfield from Nathan and Kieron and fab crosses from Owain "Bostick" and Cam.
Blink and you would miss another goal, Deniol " The Destroyer", Sean " Mad Dog", Isaac and George all had fantastic strikes at goal from the edge of the box and beyond, some went in and some hit the post., Luckily Dom, Harvey, Jak and Luke C were all in the right place to finish it off.
The passing skill between the team were the best the fans had ever seen, well worth a trip across town.
Seriously all the parents were so proud of the team today as they played absolutley outstanding and they didnt make the Colts feel down hearted. Hats off to the management,if it wasnt for their good training and dedication we wouldn't be the team we are. The look of their faces said it all.
Joke of the week by MOM Harvey France: What is a Fish's worst day ?....... Fryday.

His favourite colour is Red and he hates shopping of any kind. His favourite love is Football and Xbox 360.

Result: 3 - 2
Scorers: Deniol Gregory-Bower, Dominic Doherty, George Back.
MoM: Dominic Doherty
Match Summary: A beautiful afternoon and the perfect weather for a good game of football, and thats what we got today at Malpas. Who invented the off side rule anyway? Unfortunatly both teamS kept getting caught, but the Ref was fair and reasonable with his decisions.
After last weeks cancelled match the lads were ready for a good game.
Cameron & Dom took half a match each in goal and did an outstanding job, I wouldnt like to try saving some of the strikes they saved, well done, we must remember a baseball cap for when its a sunny day.
Luke, Marco, Charlie and Owain had a busy time at the back when Malpas made a break but experience shone through and the defenders did their jobs well clearing the ball.
Harvey& Isaac worked well on the left together and between them created some great crosses to George, Deniol and Jak who fired strikes at the goal, unlucky for us the Malpas goalie was also on form and saved a few cracking shots.
Sean & Chardy took some hard knocks and tackles so its a good job they are made of strong stuff and stood firm.
A good start to the Season with the Nomads not losing a match. Lets keep up the hard work &listen to the Coach & Manager, as yes they do know best !
Joke of the Week:
By Jonny Lawrence: A man walks in to a bar and says "Ouch" Its was a metal bar.
Some interesting facts about Coach Jonny. As most of you know Jonny supports Man Utd and when he can get out of this bed (his favourite place) he likes to watch them play footy. Jonny always wanted to be a football player or a fireman when he was growing up. He loves Mexican Fajitas and Bacon & Egg butties, he also hated maths at School but loved PE.
Jonny loves the film Forrest Gump too. But why is his favourite colour Blue ???

Ist match of the season away at Waverton Hornets. A nice lie in for players and their parents instead of the early cold mornings of a Saturday. As we are now an 11 a side team there are a few new players in the team, Luke Chard, Kieron Brown, George Back, Isaac Robinson and Dominic Doherty, welcome to the Nomad family.
After a hard summer training its great to see some of the hard work pay off, what a start 15 goals in one match! (The Gaffer will be pleased)
Cameron and Kerion had half a match each in goal today and although they didnt really have that much to do they were ready willing and able.
The defending was superb thanks to Charlie (Chilli), Luke (the German) Kerion and Owain (Bostick) and shut the Hornets out at every opportunity.
The team used the size of the pitch to their advantagel, Harvey (Lord of the wing), Cameron, Marco (Lightening McQueen) & Jak (the Fox) all made tremendous runs down the wing and fantastic crosses. Sean (Mad dog maddocks) and Dom stood their ground well and battled hard while Luke C, Deniol (the Destroyer) Isaac and George hammered the ball towards the net to their hearts content.
Dont worry those without a nickname will soon get one as the season progresses.
A spirited performance by the Hornets who never gave up until the final whistle.
Man of the Match Joke of the Week:
By George Back:
What do you do when an idiot throws a grenade at you?
Take the pin our and throw it back.
Think George had this favourite for breakfast this morning, egg & bacon on toast (think we will all be round to yours next Sunday morning). Lets hope your performance today has earned you your new boots, you will then play like your idol Pele.
