match memorable for H taking a freekick that the people following in
got there before the ball. 2 NIL and cruising
when the skipper entered the fray, quickly turned into 2 - 0
and hanging on for dear life - pure
co-incidence I'm sure! However most memorable part of
the day was Dennis paying his subs before Easter |

Dirty vets lead by Daly
who seemed to think it compulsory to commit a foul every 5 minutes
spawned a 2 - 1 victory. PC Plod joined in on the act
maiming Healey before laying on a tap in for a "disallowed"
3rd. (Delgado please note if the ref gives a
throw in during the build up - the goal does not stand. Get back on
yer bench.)
A less blinkered assessment of the game
would say the vets just about deserved the win......... but Daly was
still dirtyPS

Scorching goal, could easily have been missed by less experienced
player than the scorer.
Played em off the park without Dotty who lists this as one of an
increasing number of grounds he refuses to play at. |

Change of captain, no
change in fortune as the 4thxi maintain their 100% losing record.
Bolstered by close season signings H (aka Sid James) with his
labrador hips and an ability to make any opponent look like Zinedine
Zidane, Healey - now bearing an uncanny resemblance to Mel Smith and
Clarkie - a fatter Andy Richie than last year all is looking .....
under our new skipper Rupe "Baresi"Morrey.
Oh and by the way I've
taken part and fitted right in both in ability and weight.
