Date Opposition H/A F A Scorers
3 Apr Ellesmere Port H 0 1
A good performnce by Nomads Colts in an evenly matched game.  MOM Brendan
27 Mar Waverton A H 0 2
A fine perfornace from Nomads Colts who were unlucky not to score.
13 Mar Tattenhall A 2 1 Aaron S (1), Joe K (1)

A lovely spring morning at Tattenhall saw both teams playing some excellent passing football, with good chances at each end. Two fine goalkeeping displays kept the goal tally down, but a first goal of the season for MOM Aaron S, and a long range effort by Joe K, was enough to give Nomads the win.

7 Feb Chester Nomads Colts H 6

0

Joe K (2), Steven S (1),

George D (3)

A spirited performance by Nomads Colts kept the honours even for the first period, but some good passing skills by Nomads resulted on 2-0 lead just before the first half.  Resolute defending by Scott and some fine saves by debutant keeper Brendan kept the score down.  Thomas E worked hard in midfield for the Colts. MOM Brendan.

13 Dec Christleton New Scene H 1 4 George D
Nomads didn't seem to get out of first gear during this game, Christleton New Scene the better side on the day playing some attractive football.  Goal Scorer George D  MOM Sam S outstanding saves
9 Nov Vicars Cross h 1 2 George D (1),
There was a tense encounter at Chester Nomads on Saturday in the first game of the group stage of the Mini League Knock-out Cup. C N went into an early lead with a well taken goal by George D. The tie then went from end to end without either side being able to find the target. Eventually something had to give and it was the CN's defence that first allowed VC to equalise just before half time, and then take the lead midway through the second, converting in an almighty goal mouth melee where bodies were flying everywhere ! Brave work by Aaron S and Lewis J, was not quite enough. Well done to VC who were the hungrier of the two sides on the day.
Nov 2 Upton H 3 5 George D (2), Jacob L (1),
An excellent game of football for all concerned. Both sides demonstrated good passing skills and clinical finishing. Two goals from MOM George D and a 25 metre rocket from Jacob L were not quite enough to beat an upbeat Upton side.
The match was full of action, with Nomads hitting the woodwork on three occasions, and Lewis J making a superb goal line clearance
Oct 18 Berwick ( E.Port.) A 3 2 Stephen S (2), Joe K (1)
An even contest resulting in Nomads winning by the odd goal in five. A lively start saw Nomads progressing with good controlled passing football, which was capped by a splendid headed opening goal by Stephen (MOM) S. Stephen added a second just before half time.Berwick then came back at Nomads with two late strikes before Joe K wrapped up the game with a crisp volley from a corner
4 Oct Upton Pumas A 2 1 Joe H (1), George D (1)
In poor weather conditions both sides put on a spirited performance playing some good passing football. CN took the lead with a strong burst from midfield by Joe H, who rounded the keeper to slot home into an empty net. Upton equalised early in the second half, but Nomads retook the lead with a well taken goal by George D. Jacob L took the MOM award with a tireless display in the middle of the park.
20 Sep Tattenhall A 10 0 Stephen S (3), Andrew L, Joe B-H, Jacob L and four from MOM George D completed an excellent performance.

Following their drubbing by New Scene last week Nomads reversed the tables on Tattenhall with a fine display of passing football and clinical finishing in front of goal.
