Last match of the season and we finished with a win. All the boys played their hearts out tonight and they should be really proud of their achievements for this season.

The boys had great time after the game and gave their manager Marc and Coach Jonny a good soaking.

We do have the tournament to look forward to over the summer.

What a lovely sunny day, summers on its way, time to dust the folding chairs, shake the spiders from the picnic blankets and get the gazebos ready for the football tournaments coming up over the summer.

After all the Easter Eggs that must have been eaten over the half term the boys were ready fit and ready for the return match. Unfortunatly we lost 2-1. Never mind theres always next time.

Conner did some great saves . Jambo and Luke worked hard and covered all of their area, Owain and Marco again stuck to the Panthers like glue , Harvey and Sean made some great tackles and superb feeds through to Charlie and Jak who were waiting to bury the ball in the net. Nathan worked really hard and did some excellent tackles and passes.

Nearly at the end of this season and what a cracker its been, dont know what im to do most saturdays now though,

Thanks goes to Gaynor for the keeping of the statistics (official job title) Shots on Goal = 4 Shots Off Target = 1 Corners = 3 Good Luck to Steve Mann who runs the London Marathon in aid of a good cause, all those who have not sponsered him , please dig deep and make a donation at www.justgiving.com/manny

A few tired legs on the pitch today. All the boys had a great time at Tranmere FC last night and they all did exceptionally well of which we are all very proud.

Great shot on goal by Marco and some good saves from Conner, earned him MOM for this week.

Conner, Luke, Jack, Marco, Owain, Sean, Harvey, Jak and Charlie all tried really hard but things didnt work out as well as planned, but there is the return match.........! Watch this space.

Good win by the Nomads, Cracking cross by Harvey found Jaks foot and BAM in it went 1 - 0. Harveys hard work and passing skills earned him MOM for this week, well done.

Nathan in goal again and did an excellent job as usual. The Colts had a tough time getting past Luke and Jack who cleared the ball when in came into the danger zone.

Midfielders Owain, Marco,Sean marked well and battled hard winning the ball back and passing to the forwards.

Harvey, Jak and Charlie were all having goes at goal but this week only one found its way home.

After another interesting game it was time again for bacon butties and some hot tea. So much for the diet! The Panthers next week so early night on Friday and plenty of Porridge on saturday morning for your breakfast. Big up to Liverpool who play Aston Villa today (sunday) just for all you Liverpool fans. Another win would be nice. COME ON THE NOMADS

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. 1-0 WHAT A WIN. THE CROWD DID GO WILD! The team were on top form today, This must have been the match of the season. Im sure some away fans will have sore throats from all the shouting.

Nathan was in goal and deserved MOM for his superb goal keeping, The boys at the back, Luke & Jack were so strong and stood their ground well, Owain & Marco were spot on with the marking and didnt give the home team any way through , the defence took some hard tackles but they kept their cool.

Sean & Harvey battled really hard and were excellent at winning the ball back, they both made some great crosses, they also had a few hard tackles coming in but that didnt stop them. Sean had a great corner kick that went in off the goalie, that made it 1 - 0 Charlie and Jak had some great strikes at goal, which this time didnt find the back of the net but again they kept on pushing forward.

After some stong cups of tea/coffee and some bacon butties back at the club house the parents are ready for another good match next week. Im sure we will all have our voices back!

All the boys should be really proud of themselves as they beat NEWTON, kept their cool and played great football. Credit to the Manager and Coaching staff for keeping the boys relaxed and focused on the game.

No Conner or Sean for this weeks match, A few players had been feeling under the weather also. But dispite all that the squad worked well, did loads of excellent passes and had some great shots at goal.

In steps Nathan as Goalie and what an excellent job he did, a few gutsy moves and dives had the fans cheering. Luke was Captain and did an excellent Job he really earned MOM today for his sheer determination and hard work. Owain as always was ready to get the ball back and used his skill to pass it out the the wing, Marco battled hard and really got stuck in and won the ball back also, few unlucky shots for him today.

Jack was in control in midfield and had 2 superb goals, Harvey was still not to well but knuckled down and had a few good strikes at goal. Jak is really working hard and has made some fantastic passes and strikes at goal. Charlie was on top form today and was determined to blast that ball in.

To top it all Man Utd beat Liverpool 1 - 0. Sorry all you Liverpool fans but just had to mention it.

Make sure you all have an early night next week as its Newton.

Match Report By:Nomad Weekly Sports Reporter

After a few weeks with no match the boys were itching to get on the pitch.

The passing between all the players was a joy to watch, you could hear the boys shouting for the ball when they were in good positions. All the away fans were thrilled with the final result and as usual was a good crowd.

The Pumas were trying their hardest to put the ball past Conner, but as usual Conner doesnt like the ball going in his net so denied them of that. Great little passes between Jack, Owain, Marco and Luke, moving forward on the break when they had the chance.

Jak had a great game and really got stuck in from the off, well deserved MOM, Sean and Harvey were together in midfield passing well and looking for the cross to Jak and Charlie who worked well together up front . Score could have been higher with a few missed shots, but the Nomads arnt a greedy bunch and were happy with 6.

Great football, cracking goals and shots from all the boys and as normal they all came off the pitch with a smile on their faces and wanting to have a kick around for a laugh.

Match Report By: Chesters Very Own Roaving Reporter

Despite some coughs, colds and injuries the full team were out and ready to play on a lovely bright crisp morning. Well done to all the boys for their spirited performance, Some lucky shots in the first quarter put newscene in front but the boys dug deep and battled on.

Conner stood his ground and took what ever Newscene gave to him. Nathan, Marco, Luke and Jack were on top of things today and worked well together passing between themselves when they needed to. Charlie was not very well today, so get well soon. Sean, Owain, Harvey and Jak were all trying to get us ahead in the game even down to hitting the post on the final whistle.

The last quarter the Nomads were playing a great game, unfortunatly the goal was cursed and the ball hit the post more times than I care to remember. If only we had 1 more minute it could have been a different score line.

P.S Happy 40th Birthday to the Manager Marc. From all the Boys and Mums & Dads

Welcome back everyone from the Christmas break and happy new year to you all. It was a nice sunny, blue skied morning at boughton hall but the wind was chilly around those ears and all the team kept their feet firmly on the ground for the retun match against the wasps. Everyone knew this was going to be a good match and it was.

The boys were ready for this one! Connor was ready from the off and as usual was ready to save, save, save and save some more. Jack and Luke were marking well and sticking to the wasps like glue they didnt have much of a chance.

Sean and Nathan were all over their midfield players getting some great tackles in and winning the ball back. Owain and Marco were having some fantastic runs down the side line and looking for the cross over to Jak or Harvey who in turn had a few chances of banging it home.

Great football and teamwork. Even after being a goal down the boys kept their heads high and battled on. A well deserved win Dont you just love saturday mornings.

Tough match today, credit goes to all the boys as their effort was outstanding.

A few good chances from the off, Harvey on the break just hit the cross bar and Luke,s free kick also just skimmed the top, Sean was on top form and tried to bury the ball more times than once. Some cracking chances for Owain and Jack from just over the half way line.

Connor was ready and saved quite a few important goals today , All the boys stood their ground when it came to defending Luke, Owain, Jack, Nathan and Marco were tackling hard and winning the ball back and marking the forwards like glue. Nice one.

Charlie was even on hand to help in defence when needed but was determined to get the ball forward, as was Sean who scored a cracking goal , there were some great crosses to Harvey and Jak who tried their best to get the goals in.

If we could have only played another quarter it could have been a different result. Looking forward to the return match.

Well it was like a day out today, we all met at the Twirl of Hay and made the journey to Malpas.

Great start as we were a few goals ahead in the 1st quarter. Connor was bit lonely again but Luke, Nathan, Owian and Jack defended well when they needed to.

The midfield were passing great Harvey, Sean, Marco and Jak all tried hard to bang as many in as possible.

Another good win.

Another cold wind swept morning at Boughton Hall, but the rain stayed away. The boys were ready after a great training session the night before. Great fee kick from Luke earned him a goal ,Harvey,s 4 were also blasted in (1 with his left) Sean used his skill by getting past loads of defenders and bang in it went, Charlie smacked the ball and the goalie had no chance.

Connor was a bit cold and lonely in goal as Luke, Owain, Marco and Jack had the Pumas covered and only let them have a few shot at goal. Boy are our defenders good. The lads really closed them down at every opportunity.

Nathan,Sean and Charlie were tackling well, getting stuck in and winning the ball, great control and nice to see them using their skills and crossing it over towards Harvey and Jak who were waiting to bury it home. Nice bit of teamwork between Harvey and Jak who passed theball between them so either could get a goal.

Cold and blustery day at Newscene, but we got off to a good start 2 goals thanks to Harvey and Marco. As always the away fans turned out in force, supporting the boys what ever the weather.

Connor was on top form , (more than normal) ! So were Nathan, Jack and Luke who battled hard and cleared the ball away from danger to the dissapointment of the newscene forwards.

Marco, Owain and Sean were also on hand to get stuck in and win the ball when ever they needed to, great skill and control used today, well done.

Harvey, Jak and Charlie made the newscene defenders work for their wages today and could have easily scored more. Great Stuff

The Coach sorted out a friendly for the boys today..... away at the Dale Camp against a mixture of the Upton Panthers and Upton Pumas.

Elan joined us today from the under 7,s for the friendly and worked well within the team and scored 2 of the goals. The cold wind didnt bother the boys as they all battled hard and played some excellent football. Glad the fans came well prepared with hats, gloves and flasks of coffee.

Connor was the only one who was probably a bit cold in the goal, but my informant advised me that he did only let 1 in and saved 3. Luke, Jack and Owain were on hand to keep the ball away from Connor as much as possible.

Superb passing from all the boys today and nice to see Harvey, Sean and Marco all working hard and trying to score too. Jak and Elan were upfront and tried to cause as much mayhem as possible, it worked.

The fans left all happy and proud of their team and I bet Mark the Coach and Assistant Coach Jonny did too.

A pleasant Autumn morning in Waverton. The sun was trying to shine and the boys were ready for a match. A nice surprise also was seeing the boys previous manager Mal who came over to see how the boys were doing. Nice to see so many of away fans too.

Connor wasnt well today so in steps Nathan, what a great goalie (he kept that quiet), diving here and there and saving difficult shots, well done.

Luke, Owain and Jack had their work cut out for them today, they did very well and kept their cool and played some great football.

Harvey, Sean and Marco also had to battle hard and cover alot of ground, they got stuck in and won some great tackles.

Jak and Charlie were ready and waiting up front and although it we only scored 1 it could have easily been more. Good match !

Nice sunny day at westminster park and it rained goals .................11 of them. Another good turn out of away supporters, who all left happy. The boys were all ready to get a win today after last weeks match. Nice to see the team keeping their shape well and all knowing their positions.

Charlie was on top form with his total of 6 goals, keep it up Charlie. Connor was ready in goal just in case. The defenders Luke, Marco and Jack were fantastic at keeping the other team away from the goal and clearing the ball, The through balls from the midfield Owain, Sean, Harvey and Nathan were spot on ready for Charlie to bang, bang, bang them in.

Keep it up boys, I do love it when the Football season re starts

The boys were very unlucky today and suffered a defeat. They all battled hard but luck was not on their side today.

Connor was unlucky in goal today but did some superb saves, Luke, Owain and Marco all on the score sheet and scored some cracking goals, 2 from near the half way line. Max defended well and did some great tackles and clearances. Harvey and Sean tried their best but the ball just wouldn't go in for them, Charlie was also unlucky as he hit the post a few times. Although a defeat, the boys did their best and carried on regardless. Never mind, chin up and lets look forward to the next match. Come on Nomads you can do it.

1st match of the season kicked off to a flying start. Few changes this season...a few new players and a new Manager. Sean was unable to play today as he has BROKEN his finger. Get well soon Sean. Great team work today with quality passes, crosses and shots All that training in the summer paid off. Good turn out of away supporters too.

Although it was Waverton Bees first match as a team, they showed great team sprit and did some great passes, tackles and moves. They all played really well and should be proud of their effort.

Connor was again in total control of his goal and was diving everywhere. Luke, Jack and Marco closed everyone down when the attack came and looked for the pass forward, In midfield today were Harvey & Owain who both chased the ball got the tackles in and did some excellent crosses to Jacko & Charlie. Who in turn looked for the opportunity and scored some cracking goals.

Each and every player played with determination and skill its was fantastic to watch. It was better than watching the Everton V Liverpool game ! Lets hope this is the start of a fantastic season.
