What an incredible weekend it has been at the Chester Nomads Football Festival!
Over the course of two action-packed days, we had the privilege of hosting teams from all corners of the North West and North Wales, coming together to celebrate the beautiful game.
With enthusiastic participation from U7 to U10 teams, approximately 640 young footballers graced our pitches, showcasing their talent, dedication, and passion for football. The fields were alive with energy, skill, and camaraderie, creating an atmosphere that truly epitomised the spirit of the sport.
The festival grounds were abuzz with the cheers and support of huge crowds of supporters, adding to the vibrant atmosphere and making each match even more memorable. And as if that wasn't enough, we were finally blessed with the return of the sun. As if the weekend couldn't get any better, we were honoured to have a special guest visit from none other than Ex-Liverpool CEO Rick Parry. His presence added an extra touch of prestige to our event, and we were grateful for the opportunity to host such a distinguished guest.
The feedback from travelling coaches and parents has been nothing short of fantastic. They loved the venue and commented on how well it was organised, from the scheduling of matches to the facilities provided. Knowing that our efforts have been appreciated should make us all very proud. In the midst of the hustle and bustle, we'd like to extend a special thank you to our club's neighbors for their understanding and patience during what was undoubtedly a very busy couple of days.
Your support and understanding are invaluable to us, and we're grateful for the sense of community that binds us together. From the thrilling matches to the incredible sense of community and sportsmanship on display, the Chester Nomads Football Festival was a true testament to the power of grassroots football. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the teams, players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who made this event possible. Here's to another successful festival and to the continued growth and success of grassroots football in our region!
