22/11/25 Weekly Round Up
It was another busy weekend across Nomads’ senior sides, with Cup action taking centre stage as the Firsts claimed the standout result of the weekend: Attentions turned away from the league for the Firsts this weekend as the Ambers progressed in the Pyke Cup with a 3-1 victory at Boughton Hall against Mallaby. After a slow start, Nomads fell behind early on, but showed great character to take control of the game either side of half time with Tom Rowlands netting a brace - tak

Happy 60th Birthday Steve!
Today, we celebrate a Nomads legend : Steve Smith! Steve's connection to Nomads runs deep. Following in his Dad Malcomb's footsteps, he started playing as a sprightly 15-year-old. He quickly progressed to the first team, where he earned Young Nomad of The Year in '88/89 before becoming captain and leading the team to great success. His commitment continued off the field: He was named Nomad of the Year in 2001; He dedicated many years on the committee and was Fixture Secretar

15/11/25 Weekly Round Up
It was another busy weekend for Nomads’ senior sides, with a fantastic Friday night victory for the First Team, while the Masters stole the show on Saturday with goals galore in the Legends Cup: The Firsts kicked off the weekend with a superb display under the Friday night lights, securing a 3-0 win at previously unbeaten Newton. Despite significant pre-match disruption caused by travel issues and late arrivals, Nomads were disciplined and organised throughout, with makeshift

08/11/25 Weekly Round Up
Nomads’ senior sides were all in action over the weekend, delivering a mix of results across the divisions, including two dramatic home draws, plenty of goals for the Veterans, and battling away performances from the Fourths and Masters: In West Cheshire League Division 1, the Firsts fell to a 2-0 defeat away at Mossley Hill, conceding twice from set pieces in a tight game that could have gone either way. The Ambers were unfortunate to come away empty handed after a competiti

01/11/25 Weekly Round Up
Firsts Unbelievable performance from our lads, to go away to arguably the best team in the league and come away with 3 points is massive. A brace from Cam Clark Best performance since I took over as manager and was fully deserved 3 points. Special credit to myself for setting us up to win the game. Goals from Cam Clark (x2) and Ben Coward. MOTM, everyone was so good it’s hard to pick, however Andy Metcalf made 2 saves absolutely out of this world. So good to have him back aft

24/10/25 Weekly Round Up
1sts Beaten 4-2 by Heswall, poor performance on the day. Goals from Cam Clark and Kyle Smyth Reserves Despite taking the lead away at Neston through a Sandro Maletta penalty we ended up losing the game 5-1. Conceding goals either side of half time and then a couple of late goals when chasing the game made the result look worse than it was 3rds 4-2 win for the 3rds today against Whitegate making it three wins on the bounce for us. Even first half with the sides going in 2-2. W

1sts Always going to be a tough game with so many key players missing. Very scrappy game won by a scrappy goal. Credit to Mossley Hill, very good young team. MOM Chris Rowntree , best player on the pitch despite the defeat Reserves The 2s are up and running 👀 We won 4-0 away at Mossley Hill Reserves to go off the bottom of the table. Macauley Salter Opened the scoring for the reserves 3-0 up at half time through Macaulay Salter, and own goal and Filip Wojcik on his debut. We
