Happy 60th Birthday Steve!

Today, we celebrate a Nomads legend : Steve Smith! 

Steve's connection to Nomads runs deep. Following in his Dad Malcomb's footsteps, he started playing as a sprightly 15-year-old. He quickly progressed to the first team, where he earned Young Nomad of The Year in '88/89 before becoming captain and leading the team to great success.

His commitment continued off the field: He was named Nomad of the Year in 2001; He dedicated many years on the committee and was Fixture Secretary and also spent 9 years as Chairman. He then moved 'upstairs' to take on the Chair of the Limited Company, overseeing the club's overall running

Steve has done so much for us at Nomads, and his unwavering dedication continues because of how much he values the club—and the feeling is mutual!
