Firsts
Unbelievable performance from our lads, to go away to arguably the best team in the league and come away with 3 points is massive.

Best performance since I took over as manager and was fully deserved 3 points. Special credit to myself for setting us up to win the game.
Goals from Cam Clark (x2) and Ben Coward.
MOTM, everyone was so good it’s hard to pick, however Andy Metcalf made 2 saves absolutely out of this world. So good to have him back after a few years of not playing football.
Reserves
Two penalties from Sandro Malletta put us 2-1 up but the game was abandoned at after 78 minutes - will it stand ?
Thirds
No Game
4ths
4ths got beat by Sutton rangers 3-2 after a really close and well fought game, missing some key players had a lot of help from the 3rds,
Goals from Osian Jones and Trey Lattie, stand out performances from Sam Gregory,
Tim Ashbrook and Tom Williamson up top, really unlucky to not take anything away from the game but always improving
Vets
No Game
6ths
A jewsbury cup fixture that lived up to its expectations was won by the Masters yesterday at Boughton Hall against the 6ths team 3-1. The midfield display by both teams was exquisite, both kept the ball well in a congested area, spreading it cleverly into space to retain possession and create chances.

Baino's positioning of being 3 yards offside throughout the game did throw up some unusual challenges for our back 4 🤔
Both teams missed penalties in the first half which explains why we've lost 2 balls 😜. A superb free kick from Pete Tuma and an excellent goal from Jason our loanee from the vets had the score at 1-1 at half time.
Both goals were truly superb. The second half began as the first finished, excellent football from both sides. As the game entered the final quarter our gaffer rose like a salmon and caught a stray arm to his face, as concerned teammates we froze to ensure his well being, the masters played to the whistle which didn't sound. 2-1 down the game was gone, 1 was added late on. We wish the masters well for the rest of their season.
We'll take the performance into our next fixtures and we go again. Cream always rises to the top, Pete Tuma for the masters is a majestic footballer, well played 👏👏 for the 6ths our wee lad Joe Davies was our motm with a simply dominant display in midfield 👌well played both teams
Masters

Master v 6ths
The start of this seasons Jewsbury cup produced a cracker of a tie. Masters lined up with a squad of 13 due to injuries and family commitments.
The game got underway and both sides enjoyed plenty of the ball. The deadlock was broken when a free kick was awarded 25 yards from goal. Up stepped Pete Tuma to bend one into the top corner, a masterclass of set pieces. 6ths drew level shortly after with a long ball over the top. Both sides then missed a penalty each. Into the break level.
As the second half went on the Masters side were controlling the game, it took until the 80th minute for Pete Fitz to give the Masters the lead, sneaking in at the back post to nick a goal. With 5 minutes to go Gunner sealed the victory and made it 3-1 to Masters.
Man of the match for the second week running was Sean Doolan. Majestic performance at right back and then centre half for the last 20.
Huge shoutout to Andy Ward for refereeing the game, never easy in an interclub game.
Great to see both teams play hard and then shake hands and have a beer afterwards, played in the true Nomads spirit.
