First team secured a fantastic victory showcasing our resilience. A challenging match in difficult conditions that tested our focus and adaptability. The team rose to the occasion with goals from Rolo and Cam Clark
Together, their efforts secured the win but it was very much a team that pulled together proving that we can rely on each other in high-pressure situations.
Thanks to Jason Stamper for a few action shots from the game
Reserves drew 1-1 with Aintree Villa Reserves.
1-0 down at half time and had a great response in second half with Nick Crouch getting the equaliser. On another day could’ve won or lost the game as both teams tried to win it late on.
Thirds

3-1 win for the 3rds today. Very difficult conditions at Boughton Hall made it tough for both goalkeepers. Looping crosses meant for poachers finishes from Macaulay Salter and Matt Harland, and a tidy finish from Harry Corley.
First half was a fantastic, controlled performance by the Thirds - 3-0 at half time. Struggled to keep the performance up 2nd half but some great football shown today.
Plenty of improvements today and a performance to build momentum on now - looking forward to next week
Vets
A very windy game away at West Kirby saw the vets win 7-1 in the league. The first half against the wind was a challenge, ending 1-1. When we turned with the wind we scored 6 unanswered. There were some very weird moments when the football did things I have never seen.
Special mention to Danny Andrews who bagged 6!
6ths
The 6ths had a difficult afternoon against a younger vets side in the Eric Dean trophy competition losing 3-nil. They were still in the game until the last 5 mins conceding 2 late goals. A few injuries added to their woes but they'll go again next week. It's great to have Marc in the side and he had a great debut. We missed Marek up top. Thanks to Musti and Ben for helping out
Masters
Masters were defeated on tour by Old Aloysians 7-3

Goals by Fitzy, Adam and Phill ultimately weren’t enough to turn the tide. Fantastic hosts and a great game had by all.
Still unsure whether the preparation on Friday evening contributed to the defeat.
