PYKE CUP SEMI FINAL PREVIEW

This Saturday, we welcome Newton to Boughton Hall for what is undoubtedly the biggest game of our season so far. A Pyke Cup semi-final is always a special occasion, but to have it here, in front of our home supporters, gives us that extra bit of motivation.

Newton are a top side—disciplined, experienced, and sitting right at the sharp end of the West Cheshire League table. We know the challenge they pose, but this Nomads squad has shown incredible resilience to get here. From Charlie Mann’s crucial goal and that gritty penalty shootout win against Rainhill Town in the quarters, to the character we showed coming from behind against Mallaby, these lads have proven they belong on this stage.

We’ve had some fantastic performances recently from the likes of Cam Clark and Ben Coward, and the energy in training has been electric. In cup football, it’s about who wants it more on the day. We aren't just here to make up the numbers; we’re here to secure our place in the final.
