Lots of goals to report from this weekend’s fixtures sadly not enough of them in the FOR column!
1st team game was abandoned at 0-0 after 30 mins due to an opposition player dislocating their shoulder. Good luck to the lad there
Reserves travelled to Sefton Park Rangers and came away empty handed with a 3-0 defeat
A 6-1 loss for the 3rds Vs Upton. Very difficult game - 12 men to start and 10 men for the last 15 due to injuries. Close game for the first 60 mins but the game ran away from us towards the end. Penalty save from Neil Barnes in a MOTM performance. 6-1 unfair result
9-1 loss for the 4ths was a massive learning curve for us. missing quite a few players, but no excuses and we will improve
And finally a 10 goal thriller for the vets against Ellesmere Port, unfortunately coming off second best (6-4).
